Abstract
U ovom završnom radu obrađena je usporedba triju različitih modela elektroničkog prikazivača pomorskih karata s informacijskim sustavom − ECDIS-a (engl. Electronic Chart Display and Information System). Analizirani su modeli FMD serija 3000 - FURUNO, NAVI-SAILOR 4000 − TRANSAS te VISION MASTER FT - SPERRY MARINE. Trenutno u svijetu postoji 38 proizvođača ovakvih sustava. ECDIS je alat u velikoj upotrebi, u budućnosti vjerojatno neizbježan s obzirom na to da sve više brodarskih tvrtki prelazi na vođenje navigacije bez papirnatih karata (engl. paperless). Stoga, njegova je kvaliteta iznimno značajna. Svaki od tih proizvođača pokušava ponuditi što kvalitetniji, jednostavniji i povoljniji proizvod. Analiza je napravljena prema specifičnim tehničkim karakteristikama pojedinog proizvođača te se ukazuje na jednostavnost korištenja pojedinog modela kao i na njihove prednosti i nedostatke u vođenju navigacije.
Abstract (english)
Three different Electronic Chart Display and Information System models, shortened ECDIS models are compared in this thesis. Models FMD 3000 series - FURUNO, NAVI-SAILOR 4000 - TRANSAS and VISION MASTER FT - SPERRY MARINE are analysed. Nowadays, there are 38 producers of these systems in the world. ECDIS is an often used tool and in the future it will be probably required by all ship companies due to a fact that many of them already have a paperless ships. Therefore, its quality is very important. Every of those producers tries to offer the product with users-friendly interface and high quality one with the lowest price. This analysis is done according to specific technical characteristics of each producer. It shows how complex is each for usage and its advantages and disadvantages in navigational issues. The focus of the analysis is placed on the complexity of usage and the system’s advantages and disadvantages in navigational tasks.
