Abstract
Dobra prometna povezanost od velike je važnosti za sve zemlje članice Europske unije zbog toga što promet izravno utječe na razvoj gospodarstva te ujedno podiže kvalitetu života svih ljudi na tom području. Veliki utjecaj na razvoj prometnica ima prometna politika koja određuje ključne čimbenike izgradnje te je i sama uključena u sve procese i projekte vezane uz prometnu infrastrukturu. Program transeuropske prometne mreže objedinjuje sve ciljeve, zadatke i planove koje prometna politika Europske unije želi sprovesti u djelo u narednih tridesetak godina. Multimodalnost i intermodalnost uz neophodan održivi razvoj te ekološku učinkovitost u današnje su vrijeme postali glavni motiv, pokretač i cilj svakog projekta. Uz kvalitetnu suradnju svih politika i racionalno korištenje financijskih sredstava, prometna će infrastruktura u okviru programa transeuropskih mreža postići onaj izgled i razinu koji za Europsku uniju označava konkurentnost na globalnoj razini.
Abstract (english)
Good transport connectivity is of great importance for all EU Member States because transport directly affects the development of the economy and at the same time enhances the quality of life of all people in the area. A major influence on the development of roads is the transport policy, which determines the key factors of construction and is itself involved in all processes and projects related to transport infrastructure. The trans-European transport network program brings together all the objectives, tasks and plans that the European Union's transport policy wants to put into effect in the next thirty years. Multimodality and intermodality with the necessary sustainable development and eco-efficiency have become the main motive, initiator and goal of every project today. With good co-operation of all policies and rational use of financial resources, the transport infrastructure under the TEN-T programs will achieve the appearance and level that marks competitiveness at the global level for the European Union.
