Abstract
Kardanski prijenos je mehanička komponenta za prijenos zakretnog momenta i rotacija, koja se obično koristi za povezivanje drugih komponenti pogonskog sklopa koje ne mogu biti spojeni izravno zbog udaljenosti ili treba omogućiti relativno kretanje između njih. Budući da kardanski prijenos ima široku primjenu u složenim mehanizama za prijenos gibanja i okretnog momenta posebice industriji i prometu to se u ovom završnom radu razmatra mehanika kardanskog prijenosa. U radu je prikazan razvoj kardanskog zgloba kroz četiri tisućljeća staru povijest te opisane tehničke karakteristike kardanskog prijenosa. Posebice su razmatrane prednosti i ograničenja koja se postavljaju u eksploataciji kardanskog prijenosa te mogućnosti praktične primjene s posebnim naglaskom na primjenu u pomorstvu.
Abstract (english)
A cardan transmission is a mechanical component for torque and rotation transmission, which is typically used to connect other drive assembly components that cannot be connected directly due to distance or should allow relative movement between them. Since the cardan transmission is widely used in complex mechanisms for the transmission of motion and torque, especially in industry and traffic, the mechanics of the cardan transmission is considered in this final paper. The paper presents the development of the cardan joint through four thousand years of history and describes the technical characteristics of the cardan transmission. In particular, the advantages and limitations set in the exploitation of the cardan transmission and the possibilities of practical application with special emphasis on the application in maritime transport are discussed.
