Abstract
Brod kao zatvoreni sustav u konstantnoj je opasnosti od kvarova koji posljedično mogu dovesti i do nekontroliranog gorenja odnosno požara. Požar za brod predstavlja jednu od najopasnijih nesreća zbog štete koju nanosi opremi na brodu te zbog opasnosti koju predstavlja za posadu i putnike. Kako bi se požar u slučaju nastanka što brže stavio pod kontrolu vrlo je bitno da brod ima ugrađene sustave za gašenje požara, ali i obučenu posadu za rukovanje protupožarnim pomagalima. Brza detekcija i signalizacija požara, a samim time i aktivacija protupožarnih uređaja ključna je u procesu savladavanja požara i sprječavanja tragedije. U ovom će se radu detaljnije pojasniti sustav za gašenje požara ugljičnim dioksidom općenito te na brodu gradnje H5319.
Abstract (english)
The ship is like a closed system in constant danger of breakdowns that can open and create uncontrolled burning or fire. A fire for a ship is one of the most dangerous accidents due to the damage it cause to the equipment on board and because of the danger it poses to the crew and passengers. In order to bring the fire under control as soon as possible, it is very important that the ship has built-in fire extinguishing systems, but also a trained crew to handle firefighting equipment. Rapid detection and signaling of fires, and activation of firefighting devices, is crucial in the process of overcoming fires and preventing tragedy. This paper will explain in more detail the system for extinguishing fires with carbon dioxide in general and on the ship construction H5319.
