The focus of this paper is on urban mobility, by the example of the city of Zagreb. Theoretical knowledge reveals complexity of urbanization process and emphasizes the concentration of population, jobs, various urban facilities, etc. Urbanization includes social mobility and spatial mobility. For example, the result of social mobility is migration within cities. The paper also referred to the connection between economic development and transport. Some problems in city traffic, such as congestion and parking, were highlighted. The emphasis is also on encouraging energy efficiency in transport, as well as on the sustainable development of the transport system. Proposals for solutions for city transport are given, in the form of public transport, eco-driving and cycling. The paper pays special attention to the urban mobility of the city of Zagreb, so the most important spatial-planning and strategic-development documents are listed, as well as the specifics of the urban environment and the state of mobility in the city of Zagreb. Projects within the urban mobility of the city of Zagreb are listed, and the development needs and potentials of urban mobility of the city of Zagreb are identified.
