Abstract
Zaštita okoliša praksa je zaštite prirodnog okoliša od strane pojedinaca, organizacija i vlada. Ciljevi su joj očuvanje prirodnih resursa i postojećeg prirodnog okoliša te, gdje je to moguće, saniranje štete i preokretanje trendova. Kako bi bilo moguće uspostaviti zaštitu okoliša na globalnoj razini moralo je se definirati politike zaštite okoliša. Svaka politika zaštite okoliša obuhvaća ciljeve, načela, instrumente te način provedbe. Jedan od većih zagađivača okoliša je pomorski promet. Kako bi se regulirala zaštita okoliša u segmentu mora definirana je politika zaštite okoliša na Sredozemlju.
Abstract (english)
Environmental protection is the practice of protecting the natural environment by individuals, organizations and governments. Its objectives are to preserve natural resources and the existence of natural environment and, where possible, to repair damage and reverse trends. In order to be able to establish environmental protection at the global level, environmental protection policies had to be defined. Each environmental policy includes objectives, principles, instruments and methods of implementation. One of the major polluters is maritime transport. In order to regulate environmental protection in the marine segment, an environmental protection policy has been defined in the Mediterranean.
