Abstract
U radu se obrađuje tema podjele i obilježja kontejnera od početka korištenja kontejnera kao jedinice za prijevoz tereta. Opisuje se važnost primjene kontejnera kao i napredak koji se postigao od početka primjene kontejnerizacije. U radu se također opisuju tereti koji se prevoze kontejnerima, način manipulacije, učvršćenja kontejnera, tipovi i veličine kontejnera te ostala važna obilježja vezana za kontejner. Abstract (english)
In scientific paper is described classification and characteristics of containers from the beginning of the use of containers as a transport unit. It describes the importance of container application, as well as the progress made since the beginning of containerization. The paper also describes cargo transported by containers, cargo handling, securing containers, types and sizes of containers and other important characteristics related to the container.
