Abstract
Bližimo se trenutku kada će u svjetskim morima i oceanima biti više plastičnog otpada nego samih riba. Svake godine povećava se količina proizvedene plastike pa tako i plastičnog otpada koji završi u oceanima. Ovaj problem zahtijeva hitno rješenje, a jedna od mogućnosti je izrada sustava pokretnih traka koje vade otpad na izvoru njegovog puta u ocean, a to su rijeke. Ovaj završni rad bavi se izradom sustava pokretnih traka koji se sastoji od triju glavnih komponenata: pokretne trake, usmjerivači i kolektor, a tako i implementacijom ovoga sustava na rijekama te njegovim upravljanjem.
Abstract (english)
We are approaching a moment when the amount of plastic waste will outnumber the number of fish. The amount of plastic produced increases every year, and with it the amount of plastic waste that ends up in the oceans. This problem requires an immediate solution and one of the possibilities is to create a system of conveyor belts which collects waste at the begging of its journey to the ocean, and that means rivers. This thesis will explain the process of making the conveyor belt system which consists of three major components: conveyor belts, river booms and a collector. Furthermore, the system’s river implementation and the way it can be controlled will be explained.
