Abstract
Brodovi za prijevoz ukapljenog plina membranskog tipa imaju palubne uređaje za rukovanje teretom smještene u kompresornici. Također, u uskoj povezanosti s kompresornicom je i elektromotorna soba u kojoj se osim električnih motora koji pogone kompresore nalazi i grijač glikola. Granicu između kompresornice i elektromotorne sobe čini zrakonepropusna pregrada koja sprječava miješanje potencijalne zapaljive atmosfere iz kompresornice i potencijalnog izvora paljenja iz elektromotorne sobe. Budući da su te dvije prostorije u toliko uskoj povezanosti u slijedećim će se poglavljima obraditi tematika vezana za uređaje koji se u njima nalaze kao i teretne operacije koje se za njih vežu.
Abstract (english)
Membrane type liquified natural gas carriers are equipped with deck cargo handling equipment installed in cargo machinery room (CMR). Also, in direct correlation with CMR is electric motor room (EMR) which, besides electric motors that power compressors, fits a glycol heater. A barrier between two areas is gas tight bulkhead which prevents contact of potentially flammable atmosphere from CMR and potential ignition source from EMR. Since these two areas are in direct dependence of one of another, the following chapters will process themes connected with equipment fitted inside, as well as cargo operations associated with them.
