Abstract
Što je promet kompleksniji organizacijski, tehnički, ekonomski, društveni i tehnološki konstrukt to je i složeniji proces njegovog istraživanja. Kao industrijska grana ima veliku ulogu u svim sektorima. Uvelike je značajan za nacionalna gospodarstva te i za međunarodnu trgovinu, a upravo zbog njegove tolike rasprostranjenosti potrebno je osigurati sigurnost u svim granama prometa. Tome uvelike pridonosi razvoj tehnologije te suvremena tehnološka rješenja i to tako da se uvođenjem raznih aplikacija osiguravaju putnicima dodatne informacije i ujedno se time smanjuje nesigurnost te otklanjaju mogući rizici. U pomorskoj plovidbi, velike prednosti donosi ECDIS – informacijski sustav i elektronički prikaz karata. Prednosti se ogledaju u jednostavnijoj navigaciji koja je posredstvom inovativnih informatičkih rješenja i satelitskih komunikacija donijela zavidne rezultate na području unapređenja sigurnosti plovidbe i navigacije. U ovome radu bit će prikazane činjenice o suvremenom tehnološkom okruženju i važnosti informacijskih sustava koji su omogućili primjenu ECDIS-a.
Abstract (english)
Traffic is a complex technical, technological, organizational, economic and social phenomenon, it is also a more complex process of its research. As an industry it plays a major role in all sectors. It is of great importance for both national economies and international trade, and precisely because of its widespread use, it is necessary to ensure safety in all branches of transport. The development of technology and modern technological solutions contribute greatly to this by additional information and at the same time reduces uncertainty and eliminates possible risks. In maritime navigation, great advantages are brought by ECDIS - information system and electronic map display. The advantages are reflected in simpler navigation, which, through innovative IT solutions and satellite communications, has brought enviable results in the field of improving navigation and navigation safety. This paper will present the facts about the modern technological environment and the importance of information systems that have enabled the application of ECDIS.
