Abstract
U ovom radu analizira se tehnologija prijevoza kontejnera morem, trend razvoja kontejnerskih brodova od samog začetka kontejnerizacije do danas. Obradit će se tehničko-tehnološka obilježja kontejnerskih brodova, te će se kronološkim redoslijedom razmatrati generacije kontejnerskih brodova. Pojasnit će se pojam kontejnera i brodova za njihov prijevoz. U radu će se analizirati obilježja i namjena pojedinih tipova kontejnera, načini ukrcaja te principi pričvršćivanja i osiguravanja kontejnera na brodu. U radu se također razmatraju obilježja i razvoj kontejnerskog brodarstva, navode se vodeće kontejnerske kompanije, najveći brodovi i najprometniji svjetski terminali. Također će se prikazati statistika kontejnerskog prometa.
Abstract (english)
This paper analyzes the technology of container transport by sea, the trend of development of container ships from the very beginning of containerization until today. The technical and technological characteristics of container ships will be processed, and generations of container ships will be considered in chronological order. The concept of containers and ships for their transport will be clarified. The paper will analyze the characteristics and purpose of certain types of containers, their loading, fastening and securing on board. The paper also discusses the characteristics of container shipping, the leading container companies, the biggest ships and the world's largest terminals. Statistics of container traffic also will be presented.
