Abstract
Tema ovoga diplomskog rada jest „Podvodni pregled trupa broda korištenjem ROV-a“. Rad je podijeljen u dva dijela. U prvom se dijelu, koji je ujedno i teoretski, daje uvid u pravni aspekt korištenja daljinski upravljivih ronilica u svrhu pregleda trupa broda. Nadalje je objašnjena uloga klasifikacijskih društava, a navode se i pravila klase te pravila za statutarnu certifikaciju. Predočeni su i uvjeti koje treba zadovoljiti uslužna tvrtka kako bi se smatrala ovlaštenom za provođenje podvodnih pregleda trupa broda korištenjem daljinski upravljivih ronilica. Osim toga prikazana je osnovna klasifikacija podvodnih ronilica te su opisane njihove karakteristike i njihova namjena. Drugi je dio rada analitičko-eksperimentalni. U njemu su predstavljena dva provedena pregleda trupa broda pomoću ronilice Blueye PIONEER. Prezentirane su i značajke ronilice te su istaknuti njezini nedostaci koji su uočeni tijekom povodnih pregleda. SWOT analiza korištenja daljinski upravljivih ronilica u svrhu podvodnih pregleda brodova predstavlja srž analitičkog dijela kojim su obuhvaćene prednosti, nedostaci, prilike i prijetnje korištenja takve tehnologije. U završnom dijelu rada navode se konačni zaključci dobiveni na temelju provedenih istraživanja u cilju dokazivanja postavljene hipoteze, odnosno efikasnosti i isplativosti korištenja daljinski upravljivih ronilica u brodarskoj industriji.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this thesis is "Underwater hull survey using ROV’s". The paper is divided into two main parts. In the first, theoretical part, an insight is given into the legal aspect of using remotely operated vehicle for the purpose of ship’s hull inspection. Therefore, the role of classification societies as well as implementation of classification rules and statutory certification rules are explained. Furthermore, the requirements of service suppliers for the underwater hull inspection according with the Rules of the Croatian Register of Shipping are explained. Also, the basic classification of remotely operated vehicle is given as well as their characteristics. The second part is analytical-experimental. Two underwater inspections of ship’s hull using a Blueye PIONEER are presented. The performance of the remotely operated vehicle was presented, as well as its shortcomings that were noticed during the inspections. SWOT analysis is the core of the analytical work which covers the strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats of using this technology. The conclusion of the paper presents the final results of the research in order to prove the hypothesis, the efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of the use of remotely operated vehicle in the shipping industry.
