Abstract
LNG brodarstvo glavni je segment u prekomorskoj trgovini ukapljenim prirodnim plinom. U radu je prikazano trenutno stanje i budući razvoj LNG brodova, visine vozarina i njihovo kretanje na tržištu, vrste ugovora o najmu brodova, troškovi izgradnje novih LNG brodova, kao i trendovi razvoja LNG brodarstva. Detaljno su razrađeni robni tokovi između zemalja izvoznica i uvoznica LNG-a. LNG je prepoznat kao ekološko prihvatljiv energent te se sve više pažnje pridaje njegovoj upotrebi kao pogonskom gorivu za brodove. U radu se razmatra problematika opskrbnih stanica za LNG te je sprovedeno istraživanje o mogućnosti opskrbe LNG-a u jadranskim lukama. Osim kao gorivo LNG se sve više počinje koristiti kao primarni energent u domaćinstvima, industriji, itd. što će zasigurno u budućnosti dovesti do povećane potražnje za LNG-em.
Abstract (english)
LNG shipping is a major segment in the overseas trade of liquified natural gas. This paper presents current status and future development of LNG vessels, the height of freight and their market movement, types of charter parties, the costs of building new LNG vessel and trends in development of LNG shipping industry. Detailed cargo flows of LNG between exporting and importing countries are elaborated. LNG is recognized as eco-friendly source of energy, with more and more attention given in using LNG as a ship's fuel. The paper discusses problems of LNG supply stations and the research was conducted on the possibility of supplying LNG as a fuel in the Adriatic ports. In addition, LNG as a fuel, is being increasingly used as a primary source of energy in households, industry, etc., which will in the future certainly lead to increased LNG demand.
