Abstract
Onečišćenje mora su štetne tvari ili oblici energije koji ispušteni u more izazivaju promjenu ili degradaciju okoliša. Kroz povijest onečišćenje koje ostavlja najveće posljedice na okoliš, ljudski i životinjski svijet je onečišćenje mora uljima. To je onečišćenje koje je najvidljivije, te se također pridodaje i najveća pažnja kako u medijskom tako u znanstvenom i zakonodavnom smislu. Posljedice onečišćenja ulja na staništa i morske organizme ostavljaju velike trenutne i dugoročne posljedice. Globalna statistika prema ITOPF -u pokazuje konstantni trend pada broja onečišćenja mora uljem. Nezgode na Mediteranu srećom nisu česte i najveća onečišćenja desila su se 80. -ih i 90. -ih godina prošlog stoljeća. Najveća nezgoda Mediterana je potonuće i eksplozija broda "Haven" 1991. g. s izljevom od 144 tisuće sirove nafte. Barcelonska konvencija jedno je od najvažnijih regionalnih dogovora država Mediterana u sprječavanju i smanjenju onečišćenja Sredozemnog mora s brodova, zrakoplova i kopnenih izvora.
Abstract (english)
Marine pollution are harmful substances or forms of energy released into the environment causing change or degradation. Throughout the history of pollution that has the greatest consequences for the environment, human and animal life, is pollution of the sea with oils. It is the pollution that is the most visible, and it also receives the greatest attention, both in the media and in the scientific and legislative sense. The consequences of oil pollution on habitats and marine organisms leave immediate and long-term consequences. Global statistics according to ITOPF show a constant trend of decreasing the number of oil pollution of the sea. Fortunately, accidents in the Mediterranean are not so frequent and the biggest pollution happened in the 80s and 90s of the last century. The biggest accident in the Mediterranean was the sinking and explosion of the ship "Haven" in 1991. with a spill of 144 thousand crude oil. The Barcelona Convention is one of the most important regional agreements of the Mediterranean countries in the reduction of pollution of the Mediterranean Sea from ships, aircraft and land sources.
