Abstract
Izabrana tema te naslov ovog završnog rada je „Brod kao otpad“. Završni rad sastoji se od 4 dijela: recikliranje broda, pravna regulativa recikliranja brodova, praksa recikliranja te sigurnost na rezalištima. U radu će se govoriti općenito o recikliranju, metodama recikliranja te opasnim i otrovnim tvarima prilikom recikliranja. Posebna pažnju obratit će se na opasne i otrovne tvari poput PCB-a i azbesta koje predstavljaju veliku opasnost za ljude i okoliš. Također će se spomenuti međunarodne organizacije, konvencije i uredbe, kojima je cilj učinkovito recikliranje, sigurnost radne snage i zeleno recikliranje. Nadalje će se spomenuti praksa recikliranja koja se provodi u Turskoj i Bangladešu. Nakon toga govorit će se sigurnosti na rezalištima, pravima radnika i o onečišćenju okoliša. Na kraju rada biti će iznijeto moje mišljenje na cijelu temu.
Abstract (english)
The chosen topic and the title of this final paper is "Ship as Waste". The final paper consists of 4 parts: ship recycling, legal regulation of ship recycling, recycling practice and safety at the shipyards. The paper will talk about recycling in general, recycling methods and dangerous and toxic substances during recycling. Special attention will be paid to dangerous and toxic substances such as PCBs and asbestos, which pose a great danger to people and the environment. International organizations, conventions and regulations aimed at efficient recycling, workforce safety and green recycling will also be mentioned. Furthermore, the practice of recycling carried out in Turkey and Bangladesh will be mentioned. After that, they will talk about safety at slaughterhouses, workers' rights and environmental pollution. At the end of the paper, my opinion on the whole topic will be presented.
