Abstract
U radu se na temelju teorijskih i praktičnih saznanja analizira primjena 5G tehnologije u unaprjeđenju logističkih procesa u pomorstvu. Ciljevi istraživanja bili su: istražiti teorijske značajke 5G tehnologije i logističkih procesa te uz praktična saznanja o primjeni 5G tehnologije u logističkim procesima u pomorstvu ukazati na značaj 5G tehnologije u unaprjeđenju logističkih procesa u pomorstvu. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da 5G tehnologija zbog poboljšanog širokopojasnog pristupa za mobilne telefone, iznimno brze i pouzdane komunikacije, niske razine latencije te izravne komunikacije strojeva, doprinosi poboljšanju logističkih procesa u pomorstvu. 5G tehnologija potiče promjene u logističkom sustavu i pomorskom prometu, a konkurentnost dionika pomorskog prometa u znatnoj je mjeri ovisna o implementaciji inovacijskih rješenja temeljenih na 5G tehnologiji. Transformacija hrvatskih luka u pametne luke doprinijela bi povećanju konkurentnosti na tržištu logističkih usluga u pomorstvu.
Abstract (english)
Based on theoretical and practical knowledge, the paper analyzes the application of 5G technology in the improvement of logistics processes in shipping. The goals of the research were: to investigate the theoretical features of 5G technology and logistics processes, and with practical knowledge about the application of 5G technology in logistics processes in shipping, to point out the importance of 5G technology in the improvement of logistics processes in shipping. The results of the research showed that 5G technology, due to improved broadband access for mobile phones, extremely fast and reliable communication, low level of latency and direct communication of machines, contributes to the improvement of logistics processes in shipping. 5G technology encourages changes in the logistics system and maritime transport, and the competitiveness of maritime transport stakeholders is largely dependent on the implementation of innovation solutions based on 5G technology. The transformation of Croatian ports into smart ports would contribute to increasing competitiveness on the market of maritime logistics services.
