Abstract
Brodovi za prijevoz automobila (PCC – Pure Car Carriers) su posebna plovila koja su izgrađena za prijevoz vozila na kotačima. Automobili su osjetljiv i skupocjen teret koji se lako oštećuje, te su brodovi za prijevoz takvog tereta jedinstveni zbog opreme a i samog tereta koji prevoze. RO – RO brodovi pojavljuju se još u dalekoj prošlosti, ali od tada do danas veliki i ubrzani razvoj pratio je ovu vrstu brodova te se taj razvitak očitava u današnjem izgledu istih. U današnje doba luka Kopar ima razvijen lučki sustav gdje luke u blizini koje su konkurentne ne smanjuju toliko promet luke te je u konstantnom rastu prema statističkim podacima. Cilj ovog završnog rada je prikazati luku Kopar i RO - RO brodove uz njihove karakteristike, tehničko-tehnološka obilježja i analizu s obzirom na prekrcaj tereta.
Abstract (english)
Car Carriers (PCCs) are special vessels that are built to transport vehicles on wheels. Cars are sensitive and expensive cargo that is easily damaged, and ships for transporting such cargo are unique due to the equipment and the cargo itself that they transport. RO - RO ships appear in the distant past, but from then until today, a large and accelerated development has followed this type of ship, and this development is reflected in their appearance today. In today's age of ports, Kopar has a developed port system where neighboring ports that are competitive do not reduce the traffic of the port so much and it is constantly growing according to statistical data. The aim of this final work is to present the port of Kopar and RO - RO ships along with their characteristics, technical-technological characteristics and analysis with regard to cargo handling.
