Abstract
Ovaj završni rad istražuje izradu AIS (Automatski identifikacijski sustav) prijemnika koji se temelji na kombinaciji Raspberry Pi mikroračunala i (SDR ) Software-Defined Radio tehnologije. Sustav je koncipiran kako bi omogućio prijem i analizu AIS poruka s brodova, doprinoseći sigurnosti i efikasnosti pomorskog prometa. U okviru ovog istraživanja, u radu se detaljno opisuje kako se Raspberry Pi može konfigurirati za prijem AIS podataka putem RTL-SDR uređaja, preko otvorenih izvora softvera i resurse dostupnih na mreži. Demonstrira se postupak postavljanja ovog sustava za prijem AIS poruka u stvarnom vremenu. Rad se također bavi važnošću praćenja i razmjene AIS podataka u kontekstu rastućeg pomorskog prometa i izazova sigurnosti na moru. Ističe se doprinos ovog istraživanja u smislu poboljšanja sigurnosti plovidbe i pružanja korisnih informacija pomorcima. Konačno, kroz ovo istraživanje, doneseni su zaključci o praktičnim primjenama Raspberry Pi i Software-Defined Radio tehnologija za primanje AIS poruka, te je naglašena njihova važnost za sigurnost i učinkovitost pomorskog prometa.
Abstract (english)
This thesis investigates the creation of an AIS (Automatic Identification System) receiver based on a combination of Raspberry Pi microcomputer and (SDR ) Software-Defined Radio technology. The system was designed to enable the reception and analysis of AIS messages from ships, contributing to the safety and efficiency of maritime traffic. As part of this research, the paper describes in detail how the Raspberry Pi can be configured to receive AIS data via an RTL-SDR device, through open source software and resources available online. The procedure for setting up this system for receiving AIS messages in real time is demonstrated. The paper also addresses the importance of tracking and sharing AIS data in the context of growing maritime traffic and maritime security challenges. The contribution of this research in terms of improving navigation safety and providing useful information to seafarers is highlighted. Finally, through this research, conclusions were drawn about the practical applications of Raspberry Pi and Software-Defined Radio technologies for receiving AIS messages, and their importance for the safety and efficiency of maritime traffic was emphasized.
