Abstract
Izravne strane investicije omogućavaju više stope rasta, i dobar temelj za gospodarstvo, no do njih neće doći ako država nije konkurentna po pitanju privlaĉenja investitora. U skladu sa navedenom ĉinjenicom, diplomski rad obrađuje temu zaštite investitora, s naglaskom na važnost investicija za svako nacionalno gospodarstvo, pogotovo izravnih stranih investicija. Hrvatska se po pitanju zaštite investitora poboljšala, ako se u obzir uzmu podaci Svjetske banke i njihovog Doing Business izvješća, no potrebno je promotriti navedeno izvješće i ustanoviti na kojim podruĉjima bi se trebalo dodatno raditi kako bi Hrvatska po pitanju zaštite i privlaĉenja stranih investitora bila još uspješnija i samim time ostvarila brojne pozitivne efekte.
Abstract (english)
Direct foreign investments allow higher growth rates, and a good foundation for the economy , but they won't be realized if the state is not competitive in terms of attracting investors. In accordance with this fact , graduate work deals with the topic of protection of investors, with an emphasis on the importance of investment for each national economy , especially foreign direct investment. Investor protection in Croatia has improved, if we take a look at information data of the World Bank and its Doing Business report, but it is necessary to observe the report and determine which areas should be improved, so Croatia could protect and attract foreign investors even more successful and therefore achieve a number of positive effects.
