Abstract
Inteligentni transportni sustavi predstavljaju složenu infrastrukturu koja igra ključnu ulogu u unaprjeđenju i poboljšanju efikasnosti i sigurnosti sustava kako hrvatskih tako i europskih autocesta i šire. Usporedbom i analizom inteligentnih transportnih sustava između hrvatskih i europskih autocesta pronalaze se potencijalne prilike za razvoj i poboljšanje trenutnog stanja u Republici Hrvatskoj kao i isplativost uvođenja novih inteligentnih sustava kroz konkretne planove i strategije razvoja od strane Europske unije i Republike Hrvatske. Uz to, navode se i kooperativni inteligentni transportni sustavi na kojima će se temeljiti ceste budućnosti te se kao takvi nastoje putem mnogobrojnih projekata implementirati na autoceste diljem Europe.
Abstract (english)
Inteligent transport systems represent a complex infrastructure that plays a key role in upgrading and improving the efficiency and safety of system of Croatian and European highways, and wider. By comparing and analysing inteligent transport systems between Croatian and European highways it is found that there are some potential opportunities for development and improvement of the current state on Croatian highways as well as the profitability of introducing new inteligent systems through concrete plans and development strategies by the European Union and Republic of Croatia. In addition, cooperative intelligent systems which represent the future of the roads are also mentioned and implemented in great number of projects on highways across Europe.
