Communication can simply be defined as an exchange of messages or information between two or more individuals. It is divided into verbal that occurs during conversations, and non-verbal that is carried out with gestures, movements, facial expressions and clothes. Dressing can be considered as one of the parts of nonverbal communication. Simplest to say, the combination of clothing and the things that a person wears at some point sends messages to those in it's surroundings. In this way, nonverbal communication is maintained between this person and the surroundings. The environment in which this type of communication takes place can be of various kinds, but none of the environments are of the same importance as the business environment, and is often the most common. People send messages about themselves to the environment even before talking, and in an environment such as business, it's very important because they cannot allow to send wrong messages about themselves. What makes business clothes important is the fact that an employee as an individual can influence the overall image of the company in which he works when he or she meets a business partner or similar. For this reason, a dress code is often introduced, whose main task is to maintain a positive and professional image of the company. It may be written down or not, but in both cases it obliges employees to comply with certain rules on clothing at the workplace.
