Abstract
Oprema za spašavanje je jedan od najznačajnijih segmenata za zaštitu ljudskih života na moru. Zato je Međunarodna pomorska organizacija (engl. International Maritime Organization - IMO) donijela propise u Međunarodnoj konvenciji za zaštitu ljudskih života na moru (engl. Safety of Life at Sea - SOLAS) i pravilniku o sredstvima za spašavanje (engl. Life-Saving Appliances – LSA CODE). Na taj način standardizirana je oprema za spašavanje i uređaji za rukovanje tom opremom. Unatoč stalnom razvoju propisa i opreme prilikom rukovanja uređajima za dizanje i spuštanje opreme dolazi do nezgoda koje često uzrokuju smrtno stradavanje i teške ozljede članova posada brodova. U radu se daje kratak prikaz međunarodnih propisa i pregled službeno analiziranih pomorskih nesreća koje su se dogodile pri rukovanju sredstvima za spašavanje.
Abstract (english)
Safety equipment is one of the most important segments for the protection of human lives at sea. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has enacted regulations according to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) and the Life-Saving Appliances (LSA CODE) which enables the standardization of the life-saving appliances and devices for their handling and operation. Despite the constant development of regulations and equipment, accidents occur during the operation of lifting and lowering the equipment which often causes fatalities and serious injuries to crew members. This paper gives a brief overview of international regulations and officially analyzed maritime accidents that occurred during the handling of the safety equipment.
