Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada su brodovi za prijevoz teškog tereta, metode ukrcaja i skladištenja teškog tereta te oprema za osiguravanje tereta. Svrha rada je objasniti tipove i vrste konstrukcija brodova za teški teret te razne zahvate, načine rukovanja i skladištenja teškog tereta .Teškim teretom se smatraju izrazito teški tereti koji zahtijevaju posebne načine rukovanja prilikom prekrcaja i skladištenja. Brodovi za prijevoz teških tereta tzv. heavy lifteri dizajnirani su tako da mogu prevoziti izuzetno teške i velike terete koji se često zbog svoje velike mase i dimenzija ne mogu prevoziti uobičajenim brodovima. Postoje dvije vrste brodova a to su polu uronjeni koji imaju dugu i nisku palubu koja se može uroniti pod vodu kako bi se omogućio ukrcaj drugog plovila ili platforme te brodovi koji olakšavaju iskrcaj u lukama koje nisu prikladno opremljene.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this final paper is heavy cargo ships, methods of loading and storage of heavy cargo and cargo securing equipment. The purpose of this paper is to explain the types and types of construction of ships for heavy cargo and various interventions, methods of handling and storage of heavy cargo. Heavy cargo is considered extremely heavy cargo that requires special handling during transhipment and storage. Heavy cargo ships so-called heavy lifters are designed so that they can transport extremely heavy and large loads that often due to their large mass and dimensions can not be transported by conventional ships. There are two types of ships, semi-submerged, which have a long and low deck that can be submerged to allow another vessel or platform to board, and ships that facilitate disembarkation in ports that are not properly equipped.
