Abstract
Za efikasno ostvarenje određenih ciljeva, procesa i radnji u nadzoru i upravljanju nad pomorskim prometom koristimo se najmodernijim informacijskim rješenjima optimiziranim u sustav za nadzor i upravljanje pomorskim prometom s priključenim tehničko-informacijskim sustavima (engl. Vessel Traffic Monitoring and Information System - VTMIS). VTMIS je sustav namijenjen upravljanju i nadzoru pomorskog prometa, osmišljen kako bi se poboljšala sigurnost plovidbe, povećala efikasnost pomorskog prometa, i zaštitio okoliš. VTMIS omogućuje praćenje i upravljanje kretanja brodova unutar određenih područja, kao što su prilazi lukama, uski tjesnaci, i druge značajne pomorske rute. Sustav koristi razne tehnologije poput radara, automatskog identifikacijskog sustava (engl. Automatic Identification System - AIS), VHF (engl. Very High Frequency - VHF) radio komunikacije, i drugih sredstava za prikupljanje, obradu i razmjenu informacija o brodovima, njihovim položajima, kursovima i drugim relevantnim podacima. Ove informacije pomažu pomorskim vlastima i operatorima brodova u planiranju plovidbe, izbjegavanju sudara, reagiranju na incidente i zaštiti morskog okoliša. Sustav nadzora pomorskog prometa (engl. Vessel Traffic System - VTS) čini skup međunarodnih i hrvatskih propisa koji uređuju sigurnu plovidbu teritorijalnim morem, unutarnjim morskim vodama i zaštićenim ekološko-ribolovnim pojasom Republike Hrvatske koje primjenjuje VTMIS služba.
Abstract (english)
For the efficient realization of certain goals, processes and actions in the monitoring and management of maritime traffic, we use the most modern information solutions optimized in the system for monitoring and managing maritime traffic with connected technical and information systems (Vessel Traffic Monitoring and Information System - VTMIS). VTMIS is a system intended for the management and supervision of maritime traffic, designed to improve navigation safety, increase the efficiency of maritime traffic, and protect the environment. VTMIS enables monitoring and management of ship movements within certain areas, such as port approaches, narrow straits, and other significant maritime routes. The system uses various technologies such as radar, Automatic Identification System (AIS), VHF ( Very High Frequency - VHF) radio communication, and other means to collect, process and exchange information about ships, their positions, courses and other relevant data. This information helps maritime authorities and ship operators to plan navigation, avoid collisions, respond to incidents and protect the marine environment. The Vessel Traffic System (VTS) consists of a set of international and Croatian regulations governing safe navigation in the territorial sea, internal sea waters and the protected ecological-fishing zone of the Republic of Croatia, which is applied by the VTMIS service.
