Abstract
Navigacija i određivanje položaja broda u plovidbi oduvijek su predstavljali izazov u pomorstvu. Karte su nam glavni izvor informacija potrebnih za navigaciju i sigurno vođenje broda. Postoji više vrsta karata, ovisno o informacijama koje prikazuju, projekcijama na kojima se zasnivaju i mjerilima u kojima su rađene, ali u ovome radu obradit ćemo karakteristike generalnih i kursnih pomorskih karata. Abstract (english)
Navigation and determining our position at sea have always represented a challenge in maritime industry. Charts are our main source of information necessary for navigation and safe conduct of a vessel. There are few types of charts, depending of what type of information they present, on what projections they are made and what scale they are made in, but in this paper we will analyze the characteristics of general and course navigational charts. On general charts bigger areas of the seas or the... More oceans are presented in smaller scale, in purpose of easier planning of a voyage.
