Abstract
Predmet je završnog rada upotreba simulatora u edukaciji zapovjednika. Korištenje simulatora brodskog mosta važno je za obuku zapovjednika broda kako bi se poboljšala njegova kompetencija. Podatci upućuju na to da je u 85 % slučajeva uzrok pomorskih nesreća ljudska pogreška ili je povezan s ljudskom pogreškom, odnosno nesposobnošću zapovjednika broda i časnika. IMO je izvršila revizije STCW konvencije s ciljem osiguravanja minimalnih standarda osposobljenosti i certificiranja pomoraca pomoću obuke na simulatoru, a samim time i smanjivanja mogućnosti nesreća na moru te sprječavanja zagađenja mora. Također je putem ISM Kodeksa obvezala brodarske tvrtke da osiguraju da zapovjednici brodova i časnici straže na brodovima imaju odgovarajuću razinu osposobljavanja te održavaju svjedodžbe o sposobnosti valjanima u skladu s STCW zahtjevima. Kao sredstvo za obuku simulatori imaju određene prednosti. Mogu se koristiti za obuku bez obzira na vremenske uvjete, instruktor može prekinuti scenarij obuke u bilo kojem trenutku, scenariji obuke mogu se ponavljati, a mogu se i snimati i reproducirati te se obuka odvija u sigurnom okruženju.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this paper is the use of a simulator in the education of the Master. The use of a ship's simulator is important for training a Master to enhance his competence. The data suggest that in 85 % of cases the cause of maritime accidents is a human error or is related to a human error or inability of the master and officers. The IMO carried out audits of the STCW Convention with the aim of providing minimum standards for seafarers' training and certification through training on the simulator, thereby reducing the potential sea accidents and the prevention of pollution of the sea. It also mandated shipping companies through the ISM Code to ensure that Master and officers have the appropriate level of training and maintain a certificate of validity in accordance with STCW requirements. As a training tool, simulators have certain advantages. They can be used for training regardless of weather conditions, the instructor can terminate the training scenario at any time, training scenarios may be repeated and can be recorded and played back and the training takes place in a safe environment.
