Abstract Prognoziranje vremena oduvijek je bilo vrlo važno, a u današnje vrijeme, kada postoje brojni načini prognoze vremena, to je uvelike olakšano.
Abstract (english) Weather forecasting has always been very important, and today, when there are numerous weather forecasting methods, it is greatly facilitated. In ancient times, man used prediction of time based on natural processes, and his prognosis was based on the behavior of birds and the physical appearance ofc elestial bodies.By analyzing weather charts, it is generally assumed that certain steps are being taken in order to obtain a unique image of a time state over a particular area. Forecasting of weather is one of the most popular meteorologically applied and scientific products, and is tracked on an everyday basis and on that basis people plan their daily activities and jobs and leisure time. For each time prognosis, depending on its longevity, different methods are used: numerical methods, hydrodynamic methods and statistical methods. Weather forecasts is of great importance, probably the most important, because before seafarers set sail they check the weather for the next few days. Through the prognostic charts of the pressure fields and position of atmospheric fronts, seafarers observe the weather forecast for the area they are ready to sail and, in addition, check the state of the sea and read the measurements of marine meteorological instruments.Maritime meteorology also plays a very important role in observing weather, what implies a process in which seafarers and meteorological organizations strive to foreses future weather conditions,so that navigation can be done as well as possible. Different weather conditions vary in the Adriatic indifferent time intervals, most notably marine storms, the spouts, the fog and the summer calms in September.
