Abstract
Ovaj završni rad ima za cilj prikazati neke od važnijih tehnoloških karakteristika brodova koji prevoze generalni teret, a posebno brodove za prijevoz drva, brodove za prijevoz cementa, te brodove za prijevoz živih životinja kao i njihove tehničko-tehnološke karakteristike terminala. Fleksibilnost brodova koji prevoze generalni teret ogleda se u činjenici ogromnog broja tereta. Važno je smanjiti vrijeme provedeno u luci i optimizirati učinkovito korištenje prostora za prijevoz tereta da bi se maksimalno iskoristio brod koji prevozi generalni teret. Kako ne bi došlo do pomicanja tereta prilikom prijevoza treba vrlo pažljivo rukovati s generalnim teretom i pričvršćivati ga. Posebna karakteristika brodova za generalni teret je da obično imaju svoju opremu, što znači da ovi svestrani brodovi mogu trgovati u manje luke i terminale koji nemaju opremu za utovar i istovar na obali. Brodovi koji prevoze generalni teret i dalje posluju širom svijeta iako ih u novije vrijeme sve više zamjenjuju teretni i kontejnerski brodovi.
Abstract (english)
This final paper aims to show some of the more important technological characteristics of general cargo ships, in particular timber transport vessels, cement transport vessels, and live animal transport vessels, as well as their technical and technological characteristics of the terminal. The flexibility of ships carrying general cargo is reflected in the fact that a large number of cargoes are carried. It is important to reduce the time spent in port and to optimize the efficient use of cargo space to maximize the use of a ship carrying general cargo. In order not to shift the load during transportation, it is necessary to handle the general cargo very carefully and secure it. A special feature of general cargo ships is that they usually have their own equipment, which means that these versatile ships can trade in smaller ports and terminals that do not have loading and unloading equipment on shore. General cargo ships continue to operate around the world, although they are increasingly being replaced by cargo and container vessels.
