Abstract
U počecima navigacije, nije bilo sigurno ploviti oceanima, moralo se pratiti obalu. Također, brod se koristio za prijevoz ljudi i tereta od točke A do točke B. Uz to sigurnost nije bila na visokom nivou. Kako je vrijeme prolazilo, tehnologija je napredovala, te se u modernom dobu nastoji što više povećati sigurnost u pomorstvu. To se omogućilo mukotrpnim radom inženjera, koji su razvijali elektroničke sustave koji bi se koristili na brodovima, za povećanje sigurnosti plovidbe i svih prisutnih na brodu. Cilj rada je pobliže upoznavanje s modernim načinom upravljanja i nadziranja brodskih podataka, korištenjem uređaja koji spadaju pod integriranu navigaciju. Korištenje tih uređaja smanjuju se nesreće na moru, povećava se efikasnost brodskog prijevoza i ostvaruje se pouzdana komunikacija broda i kopna.
Abstract (english)
In the beginnings of navigation, it was not safe to navigate the oceans, it was necessary to follow the coast. The vessel was used to transport people and cargo from point A to point B. In addition, the safety was not on high level as it is today. As time has gone on, technology has moved on and in modern times seeks to maximize maritime safety. This was made possible by the hard work of engineers developing electronic systems for use on board ships to increase the safety of navigation and of everyone present on board. The aim of the paper is to get know to the modern way of managing and controlling ship’s data, using integrated navigation devices. The use of these devices has the following impacts: reduced accidents at sea, increased shipping efficiency and reliable communication between ship and the land.
