Abstract
U ovom radu predstavljena je trenutna situacija industrije bespilotnih letjelica te je istražena mogućnost njihove primjene u pomorskoj industriji. Prikazom prvih, sadašnjih te budućih mogućnosti primjene bespilotnih letjelica (unmanned aerial vehicle UAV-a), rad ukazuje na posljednje trendove i tendencije budućeg razvoja dronova u pomorstvu. Bespilotni sustavi tehnologija u naglom su razvoju te se i dalje razvijaju nadilazeći svoju prvobitnu vojnu svrhu. Ubrzanim razvojem, bespilotne letjelice vrlo brzo su se počele uporabljivati u komercijalnim djelatnostima poput dostave paketa, nadziranja poljoprivrednih usjeva, pregleda ljudima teško dostupnih mjesta i nadziranja državnih granica. Potencijali primjene bespilotnih letjelica u budućnosti su gotovo neograničeni, a u ovom radu predstavljen je njihov veliki potencijal primjene u pomorstvu s naglaskom na unaprjeđenje pomorskih djelatnosti. Ciljevi ovoga rada sljedeći su: objašnjenje načina rada bespilotnih letjelica i njihova svrha, te pojašnjenje u kojim situacijama uvelike pomažu, ili mogu pomoći, ljudima u pomorstvu. Predstavljen je i sustav ViDAR (Visual Detection and Ranging) koji omogućuje naprednije pomorsko pretraživanje i veću sigurnost u pomorstvu. Na kraju su prikazane mogućnosti i sustav bespilotne letjelice Saab Skeldar, jedne od najčešće uporabljivanih UAV-a u pomorskoj industriji.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents the current situation of the unmanned aerial vehicle industry and explores the possibility of their application in the maritime industry. By presenting the first, present and future possibilities of using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the paper points to the latest trends and tendencies in the future development of drones in navigation. Unmanned technology systems are in rapid development and are continuing to evolve beyond their original military purpose. With the rapid development, drones have very quickly become used in commercial activities such as parcel delivery, monitoring of agricultural crops, inspecting hard-to-reach places and monitoring state borders. The potentials of using drones in the future are almost limitless, and this paper presents their great potential for marine applications with an emphasis on improving maritime activities. The goals of this paper are the following: to explain how drones work and their purpose, and to clarify in which situations they greatly help, or can help, people in the maritime industry. The ViDAR (Visual Detection and Ranging) system was also introduced, which allows for advanced maritime search and greater maritime safety. Finally, the capabilities and unmanned aerial vehicle system of Saab Skeldar, one of the most widely used UAVs in the maritime industry, are presented.
