Abstract
Morsko dno i podzemlje u granicama nacionalne jurisdikcije obuhvaća prostor unutarnjih morskih voda, teritorijalnog mora te epikontinentalnog pojasa. Republika Hrvatska ima suverena prava nad epikontinentalnim pojasom radi iskorištavanja prirodnih bogatstava te njegova istraživanja. Do potrebe za uređivanjem granica na moru je došlo zbog želja obalnih država da gospodare svojim prirodnim bogatstvima, razvoja tehnologije, otkrića prirodnih bogatstava koje more nudi, prekomjernog ribolova i sve većeg iskorištavanja mora za prijevoz robe i putnika. Granice Republike Hrvatske i Italije na moru utvrđene su sporazumom između bivše SFRJ i Italije 1968. godine. Granica na moru sa Crnom Gorom još uvijek nije sporazumno dogovorena, stoga ona do dogovora ide do crte sredine koja se nastavlja na vanjsku granicu teritorijalnog mora u Bokokotorskom zaljevu u smjeru pučine.
Abstract (english)
Marine bottom and underground within the limits of national jurisdiction consists of an area of inland seawater, territorial sea and continental shelf. The Republic of Croatia has sovereign rights in its continental shelf for exploiting of the natural resources and its researching. The need to arrange borders at sea came because of the wishes of coastal states to manage their natural resources, develop technology, discovering of the natural resources that the sea offers, overfishing and the increasing use of the sea to transport goods and passengers. Borders of the Republic of Croatia and Italy were determined by agreement between SFRJ and Italy in 1968. Border at sea with Montenegro is not established by any agreement yet, so until the agreement it goes to the midline which continues on the outer boundary of the territorial sea in Boka kotorska bay in the direction of open sea.
