Abstract
Medicinska je marihuana od listopada 2015. godine legalizirana na tržištu Republike Hrvatske. Obzirom da se najčešće primjenjuje kod već imunokompromitiranih bolesnika, mora biti bez stranih tvari, plijesni i bakterija koje su patogene, te sa razinom teških metala do onih dopuštenih i propisanih Američkom biljnom farmakopejom i dokumentima Ujedinjenih naroda. Važno je osigurati da se uklone otapala zaostala nakon procesa ekstrakcije, te da se kvalitativno i kvantitativno odrede kanabinoidi i terpeni. U ovom radu je napravljen pregled relevantne znanstvene literature o analitičkim postupcima u kontroli kakvoće preparata s medicinskom marihuanom. Kako medicinska marihuana nije dugo vremena prisutna na tržištu u Hrvatskoj, kao ni u Europi, u ovom radu su opisani potrebni analitički postupci za dobivanje kvalitetnog proizvoda koji odgovara potrebama pacijenta. Opisane su analitičke metode koje je moguće koristiti za ispitivanje sadržaja, određivanje profila terpena, analizu pesticida, ostatnih otapala i teških metala, te određivanje sadržaja vlage i odvaga do stalne mase, kao i sama važnost provođenja analize preparata s medicinskom marihuanom.
Abstract (english)
Medicinal marijuana has been legalized on the Croatian market in October 2015. Since it is usually applied to already immunocompromised patients, it must be free from foreign matter, mold and bacteria that are pathogenic, and the level of heavy metals must abide those permitted and prescribed by the American herbal pharmacopoeia and documents of the United Nations. It is important to ensure that residual solvent is removed after the extraction process, and to qualitatively and quantitatively determine the cannabinoids and terpenes. This thesis is an overview of the relevant scientific literature on the analytical procedures to control the quality of products of medical marijuana. As medical marijuana has not been on the market in Croatia, as well as in Europe, for a long time, this paper describes the analytical procedures necessary to obtain a quality product that meets the needs of the patient. It describes the analytical methods that can be used to test the contents, the determination of the profile of terpenes, analysis of pesticides, residual solvents and heavy metals, and the determination of moisture content and weighs up to constant weight, as well as the importance of conducting analysis of the preparation with medical marijuana.
