Abstract | U okviru ovoga diplomskog rada provedena je kvalitativna i kvantitativna analiza polifenola vrsta
Geranium macrorrhizum L. i G. dalmaticum (Beck) Rech. f. (Geraniaceae). Prisutnost polifenolnih
tvari dokazana je općim reakcijama stvaranja obojenih produkata ili taloga. Kvantitativna analiza
ukupnih polifenola (UP), trjeslovina (T), flavonoida (F) i fenolnih kiselina (FK) provedena je
spektrofotometrijskim metodama. Sadržaj analiziranih polifenolnih tvari za vrstu Geranium
macrorrhizum iznosio je: 21,55±0,40% (UP), 15,77±0,50% (T), 0,55±0,00% (F) i 1,53±0,05% (FK).
Sadržaj analiziranih polifenolnih tvari za vrstu Geranium dalmaticum iznosio je: 21,76±0,07% (UP),
15,58±0,05% (T), 0,51±0,01% (F) i 1,33±0,13%. (FK). Provedena kvalitativna i kvantitativna
analiza predstavlja prilog znanstvenom istraživanju vrsta roda Geranium i upotpunjuje dosadašnje
spoznaje o fitoterapijskom potencijalu vrsta G. macrorrhizum i G. dalmaticum, posebice u odnosu
na sadržaj bioaktivnih polifenolnih tvari. |
Abstract (english) | In this work, qualitative and quantitative analysis of polyphenols of Geranium macrorrhizum L. and G.
dalmaticum (Beck) Rech. f. (Geraniaceae) was carried out. The presence of polyphenols was proven by
using general reactions of developing colored products and precipitates. Quantitative analysis of total
polyphenols (TP), tannins (T), flavonoids (F), and phenolic acids (PA) was carried out using
spectrophotometric methods. The contents of analyzed polyphenolic compounds for Geranium
macrorrhizum were as follows: 21.55±0.40% (TP), 15.77±0.50% (T), 0.55±0.00% (F), and 1.53±0.05%
(PA). The contents of analyzed polyphenolic compounds for Geranium dalmaticum were as follows:
21.76±0.07% (TP), 15.58±0.05% (T), 0.51±0.01% (F), and 1.33±0.13%. (PA). Performed qualitative
and quantitative analysis is a contribution to the scientific study of genus Geranium and completes the
existing knowledge about phytotherapeutic potential of species G. macrorrhizum i G. dalmaticum,
especially in relation to the content of bioactive polyphenolic substances. |
