Abstract
Rješavanjem matematičkih problema, to jest matematičkih zadataka koje ne možemo riješiti primjenom unaprijed poznatog algoritma, razvija se učenička kreativnost i potiče njihova motivacija za učenjem matematike. Da bi učenici uspješno rješavali matematičke probleme, osim što trebaju ustrajati u pokušajima njihovog rješavanja, trebaju upoznati i različite strategije rješavanja. U ovom radu opisali smo dvije takve strategije: Dirichletov princip i bojanje ili popločavanje.
Abstract (english)
Solving mathematical problems, i. e. mathematical assignments which we cannot solve by applying a preknown algorithm, develops students’ creativity and stimulates their motivation to study mathematics. In order for students to successfully solve mathematical problems, not only that they should be persistent while trying to solve them, but they should also familiarize themselves with different solving strategies. In this paper we have described two such strategies: Pigeonhole principle and coloring or tiling.
