Abstract
Geografija izbora nastala je kao poddisciplina političke geografije, te sadrži presjek politike (izbora) i geografije (prostora). U radu je analiziran prostorni odnos izbornih rezultata po jedinicama lokalne samouprave za parlamentarne izbore 2020. godine i socioekonomskih pokazatelja stanovništva. Socioekonomski pokazatelji stanovništva vezani su uz opće kretanje stanovništva, stupanj ostarjelosti i obrazovanja, stupanj nezaposlenosti te dohodak per capita i izvorne prihode per capita. Iz navedenih analiza stvoreni su prostorni klasteri, prikazani su obrasci izbornih preferencija te prostorni razmještaj odaziva birača (izlaznost). Pomoću metoda prostorne statistike, analize grupiranja te analize klastera i odstupanja razjašnjena su prostorna opredjeljenja i utvrđeni su određeni obrasci ponašanja birača. Metode i analize u radu prikazale su područja u Hrvatskoj gdje određene opcije imaju stalnu podršku, ali i područja gdje je izborni rezultat vrlo promjenjiv.
Abstract (english)
The geography of elections originated as a subdiscipline of political geography, contains a cross-section of politics (elections) and geography (space). The paper analyzes the spatial relationship of election results by local administrative units for the 2020 parliamentary elections and socio-economic indicators of the population. Socio-economic indicators of the population used in the paper are: general population change, the level of ageing and education, unemployment rate, average income per capita and average fiscal income per capita. Spatial clusters were created from the above analyzes, patterns of electoral preferences and the spatial distribution of voter turnout were presented. Spatial determinations and certain patterns of voter behavior were clarified using the methods of spatial statistics, grouping analysis and cluster and outlier analysis. Methods and analyzes in the paper presented areas in Croatia where certain options have constant support, but also areas where the election result is very variable.
