Abstract
U porfirnom ležištu u Antofagasti pronađen je bakreni mineral djurleit s vidljivo trošenom površinom prouzročenom bakterijama. Naknadno je dokazana acidofilna bakterija koja uzrokuje procese bioizluživanja na navedenom mineralu. Uzorci su podvrgnuti analitičkim metodama; XRD analizom dobiven je mineraloški sastav uzorka, a ICP-MS metodom napravljena je elementna analiza makroelemenata i mikroelemenata uzorka.
Abstract (english)
A copper mineral djurleite with visibly weathered surface caused by bacterial activity was found in porphyry deposit in Antofagasta. Results show us that these bacteria are acidophilic bacteria that perform bioleaching processes on mineral djurleite. Samples were subjected to analytical methods; the mineralogical composition was obtained by XRD analysis and the elemental analysis of macro- and microelements was performed by ICP-MS method.
