Abstract
U novije su vrijeme mnoga istraživanja usredotočena na ljudski mikrobiom za kojega je dokazano da ima značajan utjecaj na imunosni sustav, sintezu esencijalnih vitamina, razgradnju štetnih tvari, poboljšanje metabolizma, itd. Posljednjih godina dolazi do znatnog opadanja brojnosti pčela te se njihov mikrobiom intenzivno istražuje radi njihove važnosti. U ovom se završnom radu navode osnovni mikroorganizmi koji čine mikrobiom pčela, te se opisuje njihov razvoj i utjecaj kojeg imaju na domaćine. Objašnjeni su određeni antropogeni utjecaji te su navedeni patogeni organizmi koji su potencijalno doveli do smanjenja vijabilnosti pčela. Naglasak je stavljen na medonosnu pčelu zbog mnogih istraživanja provedenih na ovoj vrsti zbog njene komercijalne važnosti.
Abstract (english)
In recent years, scientific research has focused on the human microbiome because it has a vital impact on the immune system, essential vitamin synthesis, toxin degradation, metabolism improvement, etc. Due to the recent significant decline in bee populations worldwide, scientific focus has shifted to the bee microbiome because of its important effect on insect health. In this bachelor thesis core microorganisms are reviewed which compose the bee microbiome, as well as their influence on bee health. Certain anthropogenic influences are also explained and pathognes are listed which potentially led to decline in bee viability. Emphasis is placed on the honey bee because of many research conducted on this species for its commercial value.
