Abstract
Analizirano je preko 130 ostataka makroflore iz sedimentnih stijena kvartarne starosti na području Ždrila, u okolici Posedarja. Determinirani su sljedeći taksoni: Taxodium, Sequoia, Acer, Buxus, Carpinus, Castanea, Fraxinus, Nothofagus, Parrotia, Populus, Quercus, Robinia i Zelkova. Među uzorcima u najvećem su broju prisutni močvarni čempresi (Taxodium) među golosjemenjačama, ali i općenito, te hrast (Quercus), javor (Acer) i Zelkova među kritosjemenjačama. Na temelju omjera broja listova s nazubljenim i cjelovitim rubom, izračunata je srednja godišnja paleotemperatura od 14,4°C, što odgovara kratkotrajnim zatopljenjima tijekom gornjeg pleistocena, između 120 i 415 tisuća godina prije današnjice.
Abstract (english)
Over 130 remains of macroflora from sedimentary rocks of Quaternary age in the area of Ždrilo, in the vicinity of Posedarje, were analyzed. The following taxa were determined: Taxodium, Sequoia, Acer, Buxus, Carpinus, Castanea, Fraxinus, Nothofagus, Parrotia, Populus, Quercus, Robinia and Zelkova. Among the samples, wetland cypresses (Taxodium) among gymnosperms, but also in general, oak (Quercus), maple (Acer) and Zelkova among angiosperms are present in the largest number. Based on the ratio of the number of leaves with serrated and entire margins, the mean annual paleotemperature of 14.4 ° C was calculated, which corresponds to short-term warmings during the Upper Pleistocene, between 120 and 415 thousand years before today
