Abstract
Na području Vinodolske kotline snimljeni su geološki stupovi u blizini Triblja. Uzorkovane naslage su opisane u literaturi kao Foraminiferski vapnenci i Prijelazne naslage. U svrhu odredbe starosti, taksonomski su određene vrste velikih bentičkih, te rodovi i vrsta planktonskih foraminifera. Na temelju vrsta Alveolina aragonensis HOTTINGER i Asterocyclina stella taramelli MUNIER-CHALMAS, taloženje istraživanih Foraminiferskih vapnenaca odgovara donjem ipru (SBZ9 – SBZ11). Rodovi planktonskih foraminifera (Hantkenina i Morozovella) i vrsta Globigerinatheka index FINLAY u uzorcima Prijelaznih naslaga definiraju srednjolutetsku, E9 (Globigerapsis kugleri / Morozovella aragonensis) biozonu. Kvantitativna metoda točkastog brojanja pomoću mreže (Point counting), opis i distribucija zrna (biogenih i abiogenih) vapnenaca poslužili su za određivanje mikrofacijesa, na temelju kojih su interpretirani okoliši taloženja. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na srednju rampu kao okoliš taloženja Foraminiferskih vapnenaca i gornji dio padine za Prijelazne naslage. Promjena u brojčanoj zastupljenosti predstavnika određenih rodova planktonskih foraminifera Prijelaznih naslaga ukazuje na moguće temperaturne oscilacije tijekom taloženja.
Abstract (english)
In the area of Vinodol Valley, near Tribalj, Foraminiferal limestones and Transitional beds deposits were sampled. Species and genera of benthic and planktonic foraminifera were identified to determine the age of the deposits. The stratigraphic range of the species Alveolina aragonensis HOTTINGER and Asterocyclina stella taramelli MUNIER-CHALMAS indicates the lower Ypresian (SBZ9 – SBZ11) as the age of deposition of the Foraminiferal limestones. Based on identified genera (Hantkenina and Morozovella) and Globigerinatheka index FINLAY species of planktonic foraminifera, Transitional beds were assigned to the middle Lutetian, i.e. planktonic E9 (Globigerapsis kugleri / Morozovella aragonensis ) zone. The quantitative analysis (point counting) and the composition of the grains in the studied samples provide a description of the microfacies, used to interpret the depositional conditions. Foraminiferal limestones were deposited on the middle ramp, whereas the upper part of the slope was the environment for sedimentation of the Transitional beds. The changes in the proportion of certain genera of planktonic foraminifera, indicate possible temperature variations during the deposition of the Transitional beds.
