Abstract
Cilj završnog rada bio je izvršiti strukturnu i kinematsku analizu borano-navlačnog kompleksa Biokova. Istraživano područje obuhvatilo je karbonatne i klastične naslage mezozojske i kenozojske starosti. Radi lakše vizualizacije napravljena je digitalna baza prikupljenih podataka u programu QGIS, a rezultati strukturno-kinematskih analiza prikazani su odgovarajućim stereogramima pomoću programa Stereonet i WinTensor. Orijentacije slojevitosti i folijacije odgovaraju dinaridskom pravcu pružanja... More (SZ-JI), a njihove presječnice ukazuju na prisutnost boranih struktura SZ-JI pružanja nastalih u kompresijskom polju naprezanja sa orijentacijom glavne osi naprezanja SI-JZ, krajem krede i početkom paleogena te za vrijeme najjačih kontrakcijskih pokreta sredinom paleogena kada je došlo do konačnog izdizanja Dinarida. Tijekom miocena prevladavale su ekstenzija i transtenzija, a krajem miocena došlo je do ponovnog uspostavljanja kompresijskog režima naprezanja orijentacije S-J. Transpresijske strukture mogle su nastati tijekom pliocena i kvartara kada je došlo do ustrmljavanja i reaktivacije reversnih rasjednih ploha u desne rasjede. Da je istraživano područje tektonski aktivno i danas dokazuje izrazita seizmična aktivnost koja je posljedica konvergencije Jadranske mikroploče i Euroazijske ploče. Konstruiran je geološki profil poprečan na pružanje glavnih struktura koji ukazuje na dominantan kompresijski režim naprezanja obilježen navlačnim i reversnim rasjedima sa pratećim fault-propagation-fold tipom boranja. Abstract (english)
The aim of the final thesis was to do a structural and kinemaric analysis of the Biokovo thrust complex. The research area includes Mesozoic and Cenozoic carbonate and clastic deposits. For easier visualization, a digital database of collected data was created in QGIS program and the results of structural-kinematic analyses were presented using appropriate stereonets through the Stereonet and WinTensor software. The orientations of bedding and foliation correspond to Dinaric strike (NW-SE)... More and their intersections indicate the presence of thrust structures trending NW-SE, formed in compressional stress field with the orientation of the principal stress axis NE-SW, at the end of the Cretaceous and beginning of the Paleogene, as well as during the strongest contractional movements in the middle of Paleogene, leading to the final uplift of the Dinarides. During the Miocene, extension and transtension prevailed, and at the end of the Miocene, a return to compressional stress regime with an N-S orientation occurred. Transpressive structures may have been formed during the Pliocene and Quaternary periods when there was steeping and reactivation ofreverse fault planes into right-lateral faults.The fact that the researched area is still tectonically active is evidenced by the seismic activity in recent times, resulting from the convergence of the Adriatic microplate and Eurasian plate. A geological cross-section perpendicular to the main structures was constructed, indicating a dominant compressional stress regime characterized by thrusts and associated fault-propagation-fold structures.
