Abstract
Proučena je postojeća literatura na temu Vanjskih Dinarida i evolucije Jadranske karbonatne platforme. Dana je kronologija taloženja stratigrafskih jedinica Jadransko-Dinaridskog prostora od perma do kvartara. Napravljena je podjela Jadransko-Dinaridskog prostora na podjedinice te je uspostavljen međusobni odnos podjedinica i njihov odnos prema širem promatranom prostoru. Abstract (english)
The existing literature on the topic of the External Dinarides and the evolution of the Adriatic Carbonate Platform has been studied. A chronology of sedimentation of stratigraphic units in the Adriatic-Dinaric region from the Permian to the Quaternary has been provided. The Adriatic-Dinaric region has been divided into subunits, and the mutual relationship between these subunits and their relationship to the broader observed area has been established. It is concluded that the External Dinarides are characterized by a complex tectonostratigraphic assemblage of thrust sheets starting from the Triassic, and that seismic activity continues intermittently to this day.
