Abstract
Hrvatska je sredozemna zemlja s izrazito razvedenom obalom i velikim brojem otoka, hridi, rtova i poluotoka. Povoljna klima, čisto more i očuvano podmorje, bioraznolikost i visoki stupanj prirodne i kulturne očuvanosti predstavljaju čimbenike atraktivnosti za razvoj nautičkog turizma. Danas je ono jedna od najperspektivnijih grana hrvatskog turizma koja doživljava intenzivan razvoj posljednjih godina. Ako se razvojem ne upravlja kontrolirano sve te atraktivnosti na kojima se temelji ovaj turizam mogu biti uništene a priroda zagađena. Zbog toga se nastoji provoditi održiv razvoj te naći kompromis između očuvanja prirode i gospodarskog razvoja.
Abstract (english)
Croatia is a Mediterranean country with a highly indented coastline and high numbers of islands, cliffs, headlands and peninsulas. A favorable climate, clean sea and preserved seabed, biodiversity and high level of conservation of cultural and natural resources represent attractive for development of nautical tourism. Today it is the most promising branch of Croatian tourism which is experiencing intense development past few years. If the development is not managed and controlled all the attractiveness underlying this tourism can be destroyed and nature polluted. Therefore, attempt is to implement sustainable development and to find a compromise between nature conservation and economic growth.
