Abstract
Krvni doping uključuje sve nedopuštene tehnike kojima se povećava dovod kisika u mišiće. To su krvna transfuzija, uzimanje tvari koje stimuliraju eritropoezu ili nosača kisika sličnih hemoglobinu, prirodne ili umjetne visinske pripreme i inovativne genske terapije. Krvna transfuzija se dijeli na homolognu, gdje primatelj dobiva eritrocite izolirane iz osobe donora, i autolognu, gdje su donor i primatelj eritrocita ista osoba. Otkrivanje krvnog dopinga temelji se na metodama protočne citometrije, ABP–u (Athlete Biological Passport), pronalasku povišene razine polivinil-klorida u mokraći, razlikama u veličini i obliku eritrocita, proteinima, miRNA i ekspresiji T limfocita. Cilj Svjetske antidoping organizacije i Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora je usavršiti postojeće metode i pronaći nove koje će na što jednostavniji i ekonomičniji način otkriti korištenje krvnog dopinga.
Abstract (english)
Blood doping entails all illegal methods of increasing oxygen supply into the muscles. They include blood transfusion, use of substances that stimulate erythropoiesis or oxygen carrier substances similar to hemoglobin, natural or artificial high altitude training, and innovative gene therapy. Blood transfusion can be homologous, where the recipient receives erythrocytes isolated from a donor, or autologous, where the donor and the recipient of erythrocytes are the same person. Detection of blood doping is based on flow cytometry, ABP (Athlete Biological Passport), discovering elevated levels of polyvinyl-chloride in the urine, differences in the size and shape of erythrocytes, proteins, miRNA and expression of T lymphocytes. The goal of the World Anti-Doping Organization and the International Olympic Committee is to perfect the existing methods and develop new ones that will detect the use of blood doping in the simplest and most economical way.
