Abstract
Općina Plitvička Jezera je u drugoj polovici 20. stoljeća doživjela značajnu socioekonomsku preobrazbu jer je malobrojno i uglavnom staro stanovništvo velikim dijelom napustilo tradicionalne oblike privređivanja. U ovom se diplomskom radu analiziraju procesi socioekonomske, fizionomske i funkcionalne preobrazbe ruralnih naselja. Izgled tradicionalnih ruralnih naselja zamijenile su novoizgrađene vikendice i obnovljeni stari seoski domovi, namijenjeni ponajprije odmoru i rekreaciji. Depopulacija je dominantan proces, a sadašnje društveno-gospodarsko stanje ne pruža mogućnost skore i brze demografske te ukupne društveno - gospodarske revitalizacije ovog dijela Hrvatske, bar ne u većini općinskih naselja. U radu je analizirano kretanje stanovništva, gospodarske djelatnosti i korištenje stanova različitih popisnih godina.
Abstract (english)
Municipality Plitvice Lakes experienced strong socioeconomic transformation in the second half of 20th century because scarce and generally old population has mostly abandoned traditional economic activities. This paper analyses the process of socioeconimic, physiognomic and functional changes of rural settlements. The appearance of a traditional rural settlements have been replaced with new built weekend houses and renewed old village homes, primary intended for rest and recreation. Depopulation is a dominant process, and current socioeconomic situation does not offer a possibility of imminent and rapid demographical and socioeconomic revitalization of this part of Croatia, at least not in all municipality settlements. Statistical data from different census are analysed in the paper.
