Abstract
U radu su analizirana osnovna demografska obilježja Grada Preloga, odnosno demografski potencijali i gospodarski resursi proučavanog područja. Indeks demografskih resursa osnova je za planiranje društveno-gospodarskog razvoja i dobar pokazatelj smjera kretanja populacije određenog područja. Indeks demografskih resursa u radu računat je na temelju podataka popisa stanovništva 2011. godine, te uspoređen s indeksom demografskih resursa na temelju podataka iz 2001. godine. Uočeno je da je u posljednjih desetak godina došlo do poboljšanja demografskih resursa gotovo u svim naseljima Grada Preloga, kao i u upravnim gradovima i općinama Međimurske županije. Uz demografske potencijale, proučeni su i gospodarski resursi Grada, temeljeni na razvoju malog poduzetništva, te demografskim i prirodnim resursima. Zbog iznimno vrijednih prirodnih resursa i potencijala, strateških planova i vizija razvoja, pretpostavlja se da će u narednih desetak godina područje Grada Preloga zabilježiti demografski rast.
Abstract (english)
The demographic characteristics of the City of Prelog, i.e. demographic potentials and economic resources of the researched area are being analyzed in this thesis. Index of demographic resources is the basis for planning of social-economic development and a good indicator of the population development in a specific area. In the thesis, the index of demographic resources is calculated based on the data from 2011 Census and it is compared with the index of demographic resources based on the Census from 2001. It has been noticed that, in the past 10 years, there has been an improvement of demographic resources in almost all Prelog’s settlements, and also in Cities and municipalities of Međimurje County. Along with the demographic potentials, the economic resources of the City which are based on the development of small businesses and on demographic and natural resources have been studied. Due to the extremely valuable natural resources and potentials, strategic plans and development visions, it is assumed that in the next ten years the area of the city of Prelog will develop a demographic growth.
