Abstract
Učinak hipertermičke kemoimunoterapije na imunosne odrednice u miša nositelja Erlichovog ascitesnog tumora istražili smo praćenjem hematoloških i imunosnih odrednica miša 3., 10. i 17. dana od unosa EAT stanica u peritonealnu šupljinu miša. Pratili smo ukupni broj leukocita, polimorfonuklearne leukocite, mononuklearne leukocite, ukupni broj eritrocita, koncentraciju hemoglobina, hematokrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC i ukupni broj trombocita. Miševe smo preventivno obradili i.p. pripravkom vodene otopine propolisa (VOP) u dozi 50 mg kg-1 7. i 3. dana prije i.p unosa 2×106 EAT stanica. Kemoterapiju (37 °C) i hipertermičku kemoterapiju (43 °C) s cisplatinom u dozi od 5 i 10 mg kg-1 primijenili smo treći dan nakon unosa tumorskih stanica u peritonealnu šupljinu miševa. Analizom rezultata zaključili smo da propolis i njegove flavonoidne sastavnice združeni s kemoterapeuticima mogu povećati protutumorski učinak kemoterapeutika, što sugerira moguću kliničku uporabu u cilju povećanja imunosti organizma te smanjenja štetnih učinaka kemoterapeutika na normalne stanice i tkiva.
Abstract (english)
We were investigating the effect of hypertermic chemoimunnotherapy on immune parameters in mice bearing Erlich ascites tumor by observing hematological and immune determinants in Swiss albino mice on the 3rd, 10th, and 17th day after inoculation of EAT cells into peritoneal cavity of the mice. We were monitoring the total number of leucocytes, polymorphonuclear leucocytes, mononuclear leucocytes, the total number of erythrocites, the concentration of hemoglobyn, hematokrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC and the total number of trombocytes. Mice were preventively treated i.p. by water – soluble derivative of propolis (WSDP) at the dose of 50 mg kg-1 on the 7th and 3rd day before i.p. EAT cells inoculation. Chemotherapy (37oC)and hypothermical chemotherapy (43oC ) with cisplatin at the doses of 5 and 10 mg kg-1 were given on the third day after the tumor cell inoculation into peritoneal cavity of mice. The analysis of the results has led us to the conclusion that the combination of WSDP with chemotherapeutics could increase the antitumor potential of chemoterapeutic agents which suggests the benefits of potential clinical use in order to maximize immunity of organism and minimize harmful effects of chemoterapeutic agents on normal cells and tissues.
