Abstract
Ovim radom istražena su tri močvarna staništa u Iranu koja se nalaze na Popisu močvara od međunarodne važnosti Ramsarske Konvencije: močvarno stanište Anzali, jezero Orumiyeh i Khuran Straits na otoku Qeshm. Obilježja, način zaštite i trenutno stanje navedenih močvarnih staništa su uspoređena sa obilježjima, načinom zaštite i trenutnim stanjem močvarnih staništa u Hrvatskoj koja se nalaze na Popisu močvara od međunarodne važnosti: Kopački rit, Lonjsko Polje, delta Neretve te Crna Mlaka. Rezultati koji su dobiveni ovim istraživanjem su sljedeći: zaštita močvarnih staništa u Iranu nije na razini na kojoj bi trebala biti s obzirom da se ta staništa nalaze na Popisu močvara od međunarodne važnosti, no isto tako bi se trebalo voditi više računa o zaštiti močvarnih staništa u Hrvatskoj iz razloga što dolazi do ubrzane degradacije staništa kako u Iranu, tako i u Hrvatskoj. Uzrok degradacije je prvenstveno antropogeni utjecaj, no i prirodni procesi.
Abstract (english)
With this thesis three wetlands were researched in Iran which are on the List of Wetlands of International importance of Ramsar Convention: wetland Anzali, lake Orumiyeh and Khuran Straits on Qeshm island. Features, conservation and present condition of these wetlands were compared to features, conservation and present condition of wetlands in Croatia which are also on the List of Wetlands of International Importance: Kopački rit, Lonjsko Polje, delta Neretve and Crna Mlaka. The results obtained by this research were following: the level of conservation of wetlands in Iran isn't as high as it should be considering these wetlands are on the List of Wetlands of International Importance, but also more attention should be focused on conservation of wetlands in Croatia because of fast degradation of these habitats in Iran as well as in Croatia. Main reason of degradation of wetlands is anthropogenic influence but also natural processes.
