Abstract
Moja zadaca je bila istražiti pleistocenske sedimente na padini Južnog Velebita, a cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi porijeklo detritusa u pleistocenskim sedimentima usporedbom s litologijom naslaga prisutnih u podrucju NP Paklenica. Na lokalitetu u zaseoku Marasovici u kanjonu Velike Paklenice prikupljeni su uzorci detritusa za kabinetsku analizu granulometrijskog sastava, morfologije i mikrofacijesa. Na deltnim konglomeratima u Selinama provedena je terenska granulometrijska analiza i brojanje valutica razlicitih litologija. Na uzorcima iz aluvijalnog konglomerata u Selinama provedena je kabinetska analiza mikrofacijesa. Svojstva sedimenta u Velikoj Paklenici pokazala su da je detritus bio istaložen subglacijalno kao podinska morena ledenjaka, a potjece od naslaga pretpostavljene gornjepermske, donje, srednje i gornjetrijaske te donjejurske starosti. Aluvijalni i deltni sedimenti u Selinama sadrže detritus iste geološke starosti koji potjece od naslaga pretpostavljene gornjepermske, donje, srednje i gornjetrijaske, donje i srednjejurske, donjekredne i paleogenske starosti. Deltni i aluvijalni konglomerati u Selinama istaloženi su iz ledenjacke vode glaciofluvijalnim transportom.
Abstract (english)
My task was to study Pleistocene deposits at the foothills of the South Velebit Mt. and the aim of this thesis was to determine the origin of debris in Pleistocene deposits from Velika Paklenica and Seline by comparing them to lithologies present in Paklenica National Park area. In village Marasovici in Velika Paklenica Canyon, samples of detritus were collected for granulometry, morphology and microfacies cabinet analyses. In Seline locality, method of field granulometry and counting of different lithologies were used on delta conglomerates, but cabinet microfacies analyses were used on alluvial conglomerate samples. The characteristics of Velika Paklenica samples show that debris was subglacialy deposited as ground moraine. Debris belongs to lithologies of possible Upper Permian, Lower, Middle and Late Triassic and Lower Jurrasic age. Debris in Seline alluvial and delta deposits belongs to the same lithologies of possible Upper Permian, Lower, Middle and Late Triassic, Lower and Middle Jurrasic, Lower Cretaceous and Paleogene age. The Seline alluvial and delta conglomerates were deposited by glacial meltwaters.
