Abstract
U sklopu disertacije provedena je sinteza aromatskih i poliaromatskih monosupstituiranih gvanidina i karboksilnih kiselina, koji se nekovalentnim interakcijama samoudružuju u donorsko-akceptorske sustave. Za povezivanje komponenata korišten je solni most gvanidinijkarboksilat, kao način povezivanja koji kombinira dvije vrste interakcija - vodikove veze i elektrostatske interakcije. Sinteza novih spojeva uključuje optimiranje postojećih te razvoj novih sintetskih metoda, korištenjem mehanokemijskog mljevenja kao ekološki prihvatljivog postupka. Pritom je ex situ FTIR-ATR spektroskopija korištena za ispitivanje mehanizama te praćenje tijeka reakcija. Studij samoudruživanja karboksilnih kiselina i gvanidina koji u svojoj strukturi sadrže 3,5-dinitrofenilni, 1-pirenski ili mezo-tetrafenilporfirinski kromofor, proveden je upotrebom 1H NMR, apsorpcijske i emisijske spektroskopije. Eksperimentalno su određene konstante stabilnosti kompleksa iz fluorescencijskih titracija u acetonitrilu. Iz podataka dobivenih 1H NMR titracijama potvrđen je nastanak kompleksa stehiometrije 1:1, a za pojedine su izračunate i konstante stabilnosti u d6-DMSO. DFT računima određene su geometrijske i elektronske strukture kompleksa.
Abstract (english)
Within the scope of the thesis aromatic and polyaromatic monosubstitued guanidines and carboxylic acids, which form donor-acceptor systems through non-covalent interactions, have been synthesised. They associate by a guanidinium-carboxylate salt bridge, which combines hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interactions. The synthesis includes the optimization of existing and the development of new methods by using mechanochemical milling as an environmentally friendly method. Ex situ FTIR-ATR spectroscopy was utilised for monitoring the progress of reactions and gaining insight into their mechanisms. 1H NMR, absorption and emission spectroscopy were employed for the study of self-assembly of carboxylic acids and guanidines based on 3,5-dinitrophenyl, pyrene-1-yl or mesotetraphenylporphyrin as chromophores. Association constants were determined from fluorescence titrations in acetonitrile. The formation of 1:1 complexes, as well as association constants in d6-DMSO for several systems were determined from 1H NMR titrations. DFT calculations were used for modelling of the geometric and electronic structure of complexes.
