Abstract
Stroboskop je uređaj koji proizvodi periodične bljeskove svjetlosti. Postoje mehanički i elektronički stroboskopi. Razlika između mehaničkih i elektroničnih stroboskopa, osim izgleda, je u tome što je kod promatranja periodičnog kretanja objekta s mehaničkim stroboskopom objekt osvijetljen vanjskim izvorom svjetlosti koja nema oku vidljive prekide, a kod elektroničkog stroboskopa se objekt osvjetljava bljeskovima. Stroboskopski učinak je optička iluzija mirovanja tijela, koje se periodički giba, ili njegova usporenog kretanja ili kretanja u suprotnom smjeru od stvarnog smjera kretanja, prilikom promatranja njegova gibanja u periodično izdvojenim trenutcima. Stroboskopski učinak može se postići i pomoću kamere. Jedan od primjera u kojima se uočava stroboskopski učinak je lebdeća voda. Prilikom promatranja vode koja teće iz titrajuće cjevčice ili periodično kaplje, ovisno o frekvencijama titranja cjevčice /kapanja vode i stroboskopskog svjetla, promatraču se može činiti da voda polako teče prema dolje, da lebdi ili čak da ide prema gore. Dio ovog diplomskog rada je i izrada uređaja koji demonstrira lebdeću vodu. Konačan izgled uređaja je dan na slikama 3.28, 3.29 i 3.30
Abstract (english)
A stroboscope is an instrument which produces brief repetitive flashes of light. There are two types of stroboscopes: mechanical and electronic. The difference between them is not only in their appearance. In a mechanical stroboscope an object is illuminated by an external light source which doesn’t flicker visibly, while in an electronic stroboscope the object is being illuminated by light flashes. The stroboscopic effect is a perceptual illusion that causes objects in periodic motion to appear stationary, moving more slowly in their proper direction or even moving in reverse direction when observed in periodically separated moments. The stroboscopic effect may be also achieved with a camera. Levitating water is one of the perceptual illusions due to the stroboscopic effect. Under stroboscopic light, periodically falling water may appear stationary, falling more slowly or even moving upwards. A part of this thesis was to build a device which demonstrates levitating water. The final look of device is shown in figures 3.28, 3.29 and 3.30.
